Dont Choose Brint

All the facts you need to make a better choice

Not Very Responsive Emails

We have stated our opinion that Brian Byrom was not ready to build a home without his retiring father helping him. Read through the email chain below (that spans from May to July) showing Brian's inability to fix even ONE of the several areas in the home that continued leaking. (This is only one of several email chains like this!)

Then you might decide is this is the level of responsiveness and attention that you would expect from a builder.

Brian, we have quite a bit of water damage on the upstairs window, can you have your crew come and see about it? Please see attached photo thanks Brian.

Brian, I'm not sure how this works, do you automatically schedule the sheetrocker and the painter, or do I need to request this? The framers replaced a piece of the hardi trim yesterday.

Brian, our upstairs window is still leaking badly, it looks like it is raining inside the house, the sheetrock is soaked, water leaking onto the floor will eventually ruin our floor.

We need to find the real cause of the water, whether it is the decking up above the window or what. Remember the decking was never flashed, the repair was only to caulk around the deck boards.

We can't live like this, can you please help?

Brian, can you call me this morning? Anne thinks the worker told her yesterday he would just caulk around the upper deck/wall penetrations. Oscar did that only a few months ago, I would like to talk about a more permanent solution.

Brian, the workers left around 1:00 with no explanation to Anne, but she believes they did not find or address any issues.

Have you heard anything yet?
